I've gotten a lot of comments about my hat and my other hats in this style, a lot of people seem to like them. Anyway, the material of the hat is soft. The inside elastic headband fits snug on your head but not too tight, just perfect enough to not blow the hat off in the wind. Great hat, getting one in White soon from the same company. I've found that if the hat is a little too big for you and you would like to have it fit a bit tighter, to wash and dry the hat in the washer and dryer. I did, and the hat shrunk just enough to now fit perfect. The dryer didn't hurt the hat at all and the visor is still pliable to bend and mold and the hat still looks perfect. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Cool hat By Robert J. Conger I was looking for this type hat in leather. I found this one and thought "there is my hat" And this will be great for summer since it is cotton. Got the hat! It is a great fit because it has a elastic band around the hat. Cool hat because it is light and fits well and it's cooler(less heat) than leather.
